Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Join From Anywhere: the Chrome extension and your account. They are written to be read; where something matters, it is said plainly.
1Your account
You need an account to use Join From Anywhere. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on devices signed into your account, so remove any device you no longer control.
2What we provide
Join From Anywhere lets one of your laptops supply the camera and microphone for a meeting running on another of your laptops. We do not host meetings and are not part of Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
3Plans and payment
Pricing is per Host laptop. Each account gets 15 minutes of meetings free. After that, meetings use credits bought in advance: 1 credit is $1, and a meeting uses 25 credits an hour, billed per minute. Meeting notes, when available, use credits at 1.5 times the meeting rate. A subscription of 500 per Host for 30 days covers unlimited meetings on that Host without credits. Client laptops are free. Payments are made in crypto and are final; unused credits stay on your account.
4Cancelling
There is nothing to cancel. A subscription ends after its period unless you pay again, and unused credits simply stay until you use them. Closing your account forfeits any remaining credits.
5Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that break it, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
6Liability
We work hard to keep sessions reliable but cannot promise they will never drop. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
7Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
